Evening Technical Talk | Energy in the 21^st Century

The Evening Technical Talk is the first of its kind. It is jointly organised by the Economic and Trade Department of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and NFIA Malaysia.

Two prominent professors Dr. Ir. Van Gemert from Henze Univesity of Applied Sciences, Groningen and Prof. Dr. Ir. Van der Wielen from Delft University of Technology were invited to gave a talk at the Dutch Ambassador's residence. Both of whom a re experts in renewable energy.It was a successful evening as the event witnessed a large of more than 70 people from various fields comprising of energy and renewable energy related companies, NGOs and Ministries.

The event  started off at 6.00pm with a cocktail reception and followed by a 30 minutes presentation by the speakers. Topics presented were:

• The Energy Infrastructure of the 21^st Century
• The many faces of a Biobased Economy

The evening generated many interest amongst the audience and companies alike. One of the professors later commented on the high level of interests and knowledge shown by the audience on the topics presented.This will not be the last visit by the professors for they have been invited to visit Malaysia again.
