Malaysia International Food & Beverage (MIFB) Trade Fair 2010

The Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair (MFIB), the premier and most well-known food and beverage trade show locally and regionally was held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) from July 22 - 24.

This annual event witnessed a turn out of about 18,000 people this year, with more than 600 booths and diverse offerings from 25 countries. The MIFB offers a rewarding prospective business and networking opportunitues for trade visitors, international and local buyers, and agriculture trade visitors. It also enables them to map current F&B market trends, source for product representation and the general market information. With over 10 country pavilions hailing from Malaysia, China, India, Iran, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Xiamen, it conveniently groups communities with specific products, hence providing a more targeted approach.

This was the first time NFIA Malaysia participated at the MFIB exhibition, and would regard our participation a succesful one as we kindled investment interest amongst a wide spectrum of prospective businesses, ranging from F&B, oil and gas, and ICT. This event provided a great exposure to NFIA, and the services we provide for Malaysian companies.
